The plane was originally created from Robert Pearson, creating the flight dynamics, and Massimo Durando with the model. But Austin thought that I had to rework the exterior only to give better looking and more detail for XPlane11.
The plane is so sexy! so it was a delight to built it, while I still had that thorn in the heart about making better systems programming for the ammount of details I model.
It was a shame to leave the old cockpit as it was all 2D panels over 3D objects... but I understood that build a 3DCockpit would take a lot of time (always the cockpit is the most complicated part of a plane (with the landing gears).
In this plane I had a problem. The exterior of the passengers door, where comming from cabin object texture. And Xplane has two ways of rendering light. one for interior and another for exterior objects, which resulted in different shading of the door. I had to make some tricks to make it good in teh final model and not rework in the cabin.
The plane I think was originally released for xplane11.0 but right now in xplane11.30 cannot be found since I don't know. Maybe the difference between the cockpit and the exterior made the decision to remove it. We will never know, but I saw in the org that the plane is there for downloading. Here you got it:
